Taylor Friel joined Cicchiello and Cicchiello, LLP in 2022 as a legal intern. She has been able to work on a variety of cases since then but has a particular passion for helping clients who have been subjected to employment discrimination.
Taylor is currently a student at the University of Connecticut School of Law where she will graduate in May of 2024. She serves as the Director of Judging for the Connecticut Moot Court Board and Senior Articles Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She is also a member of the Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Society as well as the Women Law Student’s Association. During her 1L year, Taylor was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Practice: Interviewing, Counseling and Advocacy for achieving the highest grade in the class. She was also a finalist in the 2022 Alva P. Loiselle Moot Court Competition, where she had the honor of arguing before Connecticut Supreme Court Justices.
Prior to law school, Taylor graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Political Science and Economics.
