About
James Moher is a litigation attorney at Cicchiello & Cicchiello, LLP. He attended Boston College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors in 2008, and later graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2011 as a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship.
Attorney Moher represents plaintiffs in employment and personal injury matters. His practice draws on experience in insurance defense, business law, and complex commercial negotiations, providing a practical understanding of how cases are evaluated, defended, and resolved.
He began his legal career at Howard, Kohn, Sprague & Fitzgerald, where he handled more than one hundred litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
Mr. Moher later practiced business and transactional law at Bulkley Richardson, advising early- and later-stage companies on formation, governance, and commercial transactions.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Moher founded, led, and sold a national events company serving high schools and colleges across the United States, and has held senior leadership roles at a publicly traded fintech company.
Mr. Moher is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
