Attorneys Manny Cicchiello & Amanda DeMatteis named to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars for 2015

The Hartford personal injury and employment law firm Cicchiello & Cicchiello, LLP proudly announces two of its members—Manny Cicchiello and Amanda DeMatteis—have been named to the list of 2015 Super Lawyers® Rising Stars.

Super Lawyers® is a well-respected independent organization providing potential legal clients with a means of selecting from top attorneys from each state in a wide variety of practice areas. Attorneys who are eventually chosen are put through a rigorous vetting process which begins with a nomination by another lawyer. The attorney-led research staff at Super Lawyers® then conducts a search of the attorney's credentials using databases and online sources.

The Super Lawyers® research team evaluates candidates for inclusion based on a dozen factors of peer recognition and professional accomplishment. Factors include experience, awards, special certifications, educations, and scholarly lectures. A blue-ribbon panel then evaluates candidates by practice area and size of firm where they can be compared to each other.

Those at last selected represent no more than 5% of attorneys state-wide and are published in annual state and regional editions of Super Lawyers Magazines as well as on the Super Lawyers® website.

The selection process for Rising Stars is equally thorough, with the added qualifier that candidates must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for no more than 10 years. No more than 2.5% of lawyers in each state are named to this list.

Manny Cicchiello has previously been named to the list of Rising Stars each year since 2011 for employment law and has additionally been chosen by the National Trial Lawyers Association Top 40 Under 40.

Amanda DeMatteis is also a member of the American Inn of Court and serves on the Oliver Ellsworth Inn of Court in Hartford, Connecticut.
